It was a bright morning. Shaun woke up, stretching with a yawn. The birds chirped loudly and he breathed in deeply the fresh air. He was going to Chun Man’s house for a party today. [PWLC1]. He washed up and straightaway brought down his newly bought PSP to the dining table for breakfast. While eating, his mind flashed back to yesterday’s Math lesson. [PWLC2]
“Hello! May I speak to Shaun please? Thank you.”
“Ya! Who is this ah?”
“Oh hi Shaun. This is Jerome. Just asking, are you going to Chun Man’s party later on in about an hour’s time. I am already packed and ready to go. How about you?”
“Oh no! I died! Now I will have to restart the whole level again! Oh ya, sorry. I will be going. Why you so fussy one, eh buddy?”
“Oh…ok then, see you there.’ J Hee Hee. Sigh…How come my best buddy so unlike me…” Shaun said to himself and grinned.[PWLC3] [PWLC4][PWLC5] [PWLC6]he walked to Chun Man’s house. On the way there, he met Jerome. Soon after, they reached Chun Man’s house. It was crowded with all his friends as Chun Man was the most popular boy in class. Everybody was laughing and chatting. Just then the planned events started.
First of all, there was a magic show that at one part, needed two volunteers. Shaun said, “Eh, Jerome.
“Er… I don’t think so…”
“Hey come on! There is nothing to be afraid of!”
“Ok then.”
[PWLC7] [PWLC8], everybody was exhausted and thirsty. Chun Man went to get the drinks. He came back soon with a tray full of cups of fruit punch. “Ahhh!!!” The next thing, he was on the floor, covered with fruit punch[PWLC9].
“Yeah! The puddle of water really helped! Haha….” [PWLC10]“Serves him right for scolding me wrongly. Haha!”
